Partall® Film #10 is a water- and alcohol-based polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) mold release agent that forms a barrier between parts and mold surfaces that are still curing. Partall® Film #10, the original green release film, is resistant to solvents and styrene, yet water soluble. Protects against mold growth with polyester and vinyl ester resins, can also be used with epoxy and urethane resins. PVA is usually applied over mold release wax. Partall® Film #10 can also be used as a surface hardener during gel coat repairs (blocks moisture in the air that prevents the resin from curing). Parall® Film #10 has now been improved to make application easier. Can be applied with a sponge or cloth, but also has excellent spray properties.
