Our acetone for styrene-reduced polyester resin with a content of 99.5% is an organic chemical compound that can be used as a solvent and cleaning agent. Colourless acetone dissolves grease, resin, rubber, asphalt and much more. When processing synthetic resins, it is also used to clean surfaces and tools. During processing, fresh splashes or uncured residues can be removed with acetone and a cleaning cloth. Always allow parts and tools treated with acetone to air dry for 2-3 hours before applying the next coat of resin. Cured synthetic resins are best removed mechanically.
