MEKP Hardener

DD-MP1 is a medium-reactive standard MEKP hardener in dimethyl phthalate, which is suitable for various of our polyester resins as well as our styrene-free Diepal-S systems. Whether it is a Diepal laminating resin, SG gelcoat, PHD adhesive resin DP, or a topcoat Diepal, our DD-MEKP hardener is used in every resin system. For our polyester resin systems, a hardener addition of 1.3-2.4% is typically recommended.

MEKP hardener DD-MP1 is suitable for our polyester resins and our styrene-free Diepal-S systems. Regardless of whether it is a Diepal laminating resin, SG gelcoat, PHD adhesive resin DP, or a topcoat Diepal, our DD-MEKP hardener is used in every resin system.

Adding 1.3-2.4% hardener to this mixture ratio ensures optimal curing of the polyester resin system and guarantees stable and reliable end product quality. It is important to follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully and measure the components accurately to achieve the best results. By precisely matching the resin and hardener, you can ensure that your project is successful and that the desired properties of the material are fully realized.

The chemical reaction between resin and hardener can only be triggered by adding MEKP hardener. First, the viscosity increases evenly until the gel point is reached and the resin transitions to a solid state.
