Peel Ply

A fine fabric for an optimal substrate for further laminating, sealing or bonding. Epoxy resins and polyester resins do not adhere well to this fabric, which means that the tear-off fabric can be easily removed from the rest of the laminate after curing. The surface is then completely dust-free and clean. There is no need for tedious sanding and removal of sanding dust.

Our range of GRP fabric fibers is extremely diverse and offers a wide selection of options. We offer aramid fabric, tear-off fabric, carbon fabric, fiberglass mat, and roving fabric. For some applications, it is advisable to use complex fabric, which is a combination of fiberglass mat and roving fabric. When it comes to motorsports, we pay particular attention to lightweight construction and offer a wide selection of carbon fabrics, carbon fabrics, and carbon fabric tape. You can purchase GRP mats and resin from us, and we have also put together various epoxy resin sets and polyester resin sets for you.

The tear-off fabric should always be cut generously. Make sure that there is approx. 10 cm of excess fabric on all sides, as this will make it easier to remove the fabric later. Once the resin has hardened, the tear-off fabric is slowly torn off the component at an acute angle.

An ideal fabric for a perfect base for further laminating, sealing, or bonding. Epoxy resins and polyester resins do not adhere to this material, allowing it to be easily peeled off the rest of the laminate after curing. The surface remains dust-free and clean, without the need for tedious sanding and removal of sanding dust.

Tear-off fabric is a fine-mesh net fabric that serves as an ideal base for laminating, sealing, or bonding work. It was specially developed for epoxy and polyester resins, which normally do not adhere well to the fabric. After curing, the tear-off fabric and the rest of the laminate can be easily separated from each other. The surface remains free of dust and dirt, eliminating the need for tedious sanding and removal of sanding dust.

The term “hybrid” refers to materials that consist of several types of structural fibers. It is possible to mix different types of fibers together, with most fiber blends containing a metallic component. This allows materials made from different combinations, such as glass and metal or plastic and metal, to be bonded together.

Our complex fabric construction consists of a layer of roving fabric weighing 600 g/m² and a layer of glass fiber mat weighing 300 g/m², which are sewn together. The upper side has the roving look and the underside has the look of glass fiber. This construction enables the rapid production of thick laminates with excellent mechanical properties.
