The advantage of peel-off fabric is that if, for example, bonding work needs to be carried out after the laminate has cured but wet-on-wet application is not possible, the substrate is absolutely dust-free and clean immediately after peeling, ready for further lamination, sealing, or bonding. Epoxy and polyester resins do not adhere well to the fabric, allowing it to be easily peeled off the rest of the laminate after curing. Due to the intentionally poor bond, peel-off fabric must never be used in or left on load-bearing structures. For this reason, it is also color-coded with blue and red stripes.
