Complex Fabric

Our complex mats consist of a layer of roving fabric and a layer of textile glass mat, which are sewn together. With such complexes, large layers can be built up effortlessly without negatively affecting the mechanical properties of the component. Our complex fabrics are compatible with UP, VE and EP resins (UP – unsaturated polyester resins, VE – vinyl ester resins, EP – epoxy resins).



Our complex fabric construction consists of a layer of roving fabric weighing 600 g/m² and a layer of glass fibre mat weighing 300 g/m², which are stitched together. The upper side has the roving look and the underside has the glass fibre look. This construction enables the rapid production of thick laminates with excellent mechanical properties.

Our biaxial glass fabric consists of two parallel glass fibres that are stitched together at an angle of -45°/+45°. This structure gives the material excellent load-bearing capacity. It is often used to manufacture components that are exposed to high tensile forces in the fibre direction, such as wind turbines.

Mould-making fleece – the perfect solution for demanding moulds and components. Our high-quality mould-making fleece is made from branded fibres and consists of 100% polyester, without any chemical binders. The special material guarantees constant air circulation, which makes the fleece incredibly stretchy, drapable and elastic. Even with complex moulds and components, the fleece proves itself thanks to its high tear resistance. It also retains its original shape even when exposed to resin, without sagging.

Our fibreglass mats are made from 50 mm long E-glass fibres and coated with a powder or emulsion binder. They are ideal for hand lay-up and pressing processes with our polyester resin, as they have excellent impregnation properties, a uniform weight per unit area and good drapability.
