Primer
Experience our primers on a whole new level.
Our epoxy primers are extremely effective when it comes to creating an optimal bond between the coating and the substrate, making them ideal adhesive primers. Using our products perfects synthetic resins, fillers and coatings, ensuring a strong bond to the substrate. For example, in the areas of wood priming, floor priming or as a plastic primer.
Regardless of whether the surface is smooth and dense or absorbent, our epoxy primer 2 K ensures perfect adhesion. With our epoxy resin system 4305 + hardener 180, it is even possible to achieve excellent adhesion on damp substrates.
Our adhesive primers are characterized by low viscosity, freedom from solvents and fillers, and excellent impregnation properties. They are chemical-resistant and offer unbeatable quality.

The importance of epoxy primers for successful surface design
Primers are the first layer to be applied to protect the surface and improve adhesion between the substrate and the material to be applied. Professional priming is essential for successful surface design. Our two-component epoxy resin primers are particularly well suited for a wide range of substrates.
Color design with two-component epoxy resin primers
Our two-component epoxy resin primers are ideal for color design. They can be easily colored to influence the color result.

The main differences between resin systems lie in their viscosity, the color of the resin, the mixing ratio, the processing time, and the viscosity of the hardener.
Please note that cured resins can only be removed by mechanical cleaning, such as sanding. Acetone can be used to remove uncured resin residue from tools. Ensure that the tools are sufficiently dry to prevent contamination in new containers.
The EP primer can be applied with a brush, a laminating roller, or a squeegee.

Epoxy primer: The ideal base for concrete and wood surfaces. An epoxy primer is the perfect preparation for floors, walls, and other surfaces, especially if they are to be covered with a layer of epoxy resin. Our EP primer serves as an adhesive base for smooth, dense substrates. At the same time, it prevents suction and material loss on absorbent substrates. With our EP primer, you can achieve excellent adhesion, even on difficult substrates. Concrete is very porous and absorbs paint, which causes the final floor paint to penetrate the concrete. The epoxy primer prevents paint from being absorbed, thus creating a smooth surface.
