Unidirectional and biaxial carbon fabrics for the manufacture of high-strength components in motorsport, wind energy, sports equipment construction, boat, ship and aircraft construction. These fabrics consist of stretched fibres, which are laid down in different layers with different fibre orientations and connected with sewing thread. Tensile and compressive forces can be optimally absorbed by the fibres.

Multiaxial carbon fabrics

can be made from different types of fibers such as carbon, aramid, or glass fiber.

The fabrics are differentiated according to the orientation of their fibers.

Unidirectional 0° or 90°

Bidirectional   0°, 90°

Biaxial             +/- 45°

Triaxial            0°, +/- 45° or 90°, +/- 45°

Quadraxial 0°, +/- 45°, 90°
