Our acetone, with a purity of 99.5%, is an organic chemical compound that can be used as a solvent and cleaning agent. This colourless acetone dissolves grease, resin, rubber, asphalt and much more. It is also used to clean surfaces and tools when working with synthetic resins. Fresh splashes or residues that have not yet hardened can be removed during processing with acetone and a cloth. Parts and tools that have been treated with acetone should always be ventilated for 2-3 hours before the next resin application. Hardened synthetic resins are best removed mechanically.
