PARTALL® Hi-Temp Wax is a wax polish for multiple release applications, composed of a blend of Teflon® (polytetrafluoroethylene), hydrocarbon, and microcrystalline waxes. It is recommended for use with epoxy resins and other types of resins that cure and/or catalyze at higher temperatures (65° - 175° C). PARTALL® Hi-Temp Wax is particularly useful in applications where commercially available silicone waxes interfere with subsequent surface finishing. For molds that are particularly complex or too expensive to risk mold release problems, it is recommended to use a polyvinyl alcohol solution (PVAL), such as PARTALL® Coverall Film, in conjunction with PARTALL® Hi-Temp Wax.
