With this starter kit, you can create a positive or negative mold from a master model.
For smaller molds up to 1 m² in total surface area.
- 1 kg Epoxy Resin 4307 + 0.5 kg Hardener 1208-F
- 250 g Epoxy Resin Gelcoat 4300 + 138 g Hardener 390
- 100g RAL 9005 black color paste
- 340g Formula Five release wax
- 500ml acetone
- 2m² 300g roving fabric - twill weave
- 1m² 163g Finish glass filament fabric - twill weave
- 100g glass fiber chippings
- 100g microflocks
- 25g thixotropic agent
- Lamination Set 3 (2x 100mm nylon-polyamide rollers + clamp + tray)
- 5x 100mm nylon-polyamide rollers
- 5 x 600ml mixing cups
- Brush set (2x30mm / 2x50mm)
- Metal disc de-airing roller 15x50mm
- 10 x wooden stirring sticks
- 10 x protective gloves
- LS-2000H scale
- 11" scissors
Application instructions:
- Clean the master model
- Apply release agent (see technical data sheet for release agent)
- Mix epoxy resin with color paste and thixo and apply 2 coats
- Mix glass fiber chips and microflocks with the epoxy resin and reinforce the edges
- Laminate epoxy resin with glass filament fabric
- Reinforce epoxy resin with several layers of roving fabric
- Demoldable after 24–48 hours
- Full cure in 7–10 days
