Our roving fabrics are E-glass fabrics and are often used to reinforce glass mat laminates. They are particularly well-suited for the production of thick, rigid laminates. Applications include container construction, piping construction, and mold making. Our roving fabrics are processed with polyester resin or epoxy resin.
SPECIFICATIONS:
300 g/m² roving fabric
- Roll width: 1.25 m
- Weave: twill or plain
- Resin consumption: approx. 0.3–0.45 kg/m²; achievable laminate thickness: approx. 0.3 mm
570 g/m² roving fabric
- Roll width: 1.25 m
- Weave: Plain or twill
- Resin consumption: approx. 0.5–0.6 kg/m², resulting in a laminate thickness of approx. 0.6 mm
- 570 g/m² twill available only in 5 m² folded pieces
800 g/m² roving fabric
- Roll width: 1.25 m
- Weave: Plain weave
- Resin consumption of approx. 0.7–0.8 kg/m², resulting in a laminate thickness of approx. 0.9 mm
Sold by the square meter:
- Example: Enter 1 as the quantity to receive 1.0 m², i.e., 1.25 m x 0.80 m / Quantity 2 = 2.0 m², i.e., 1.25 m x 1.60 m, etc.
- Shipping method (folded): From 5 m² in pieces of 5 m² each
