Flexi polyester filler Contour filler incl. styrene-reduced hardener
- Highly elastic 2K polyester-based filler. Temperature resistant up to +160 °C. Easy to apply, good filling properties, easy to sand.
- For filling work on parts exposed to strong vibrations.
- Suitable substrates are sheet steel, cast iron and aluminium, as well as glass fibre reinforced car body parts on a polyester basis.
- Fast-curing, elastic 2K contour filler, styrene-reduced, polyester-based, with excellent adhesion to plastics, especially plastic or polyester laminate bumpers and spoilers.
Application:
- Very well suited for repairing damaged bumpers and spoilers.
- Can be painted over with 2K paints or spray paints.
Instructions for use:
The substrate must be carefully cleaned of rust, dirt, grease and old, loose paint residues and sanded. The desired amount of filler is thoroughly mixed with approx. 2% hardener paste and then processed within 4 - 6 minutes. Reaction primer: Electroplated and hot-dip galvanised sheet metal, wash primers, synthetic resin or nitro combination primers are not suitable as substrates. Overdosing with hardener paste shortens the pot life but does not accelerate curing. Under unfavourable conditions, this can even lead to adhesion problems and/or colour changes in the subsequent paintwork.
