Our styrene-free DIEPAL S-20-V is a medium-viscosity, medium-reactivity unsaturated polyester resin based on isophthalic acid and neopentyl glycol dissolved in vinyltoluene, which, after curing, yields products with good thermal and mechanical properties and is suitable for nearly all standard processing methods.
DIEPAL S-20-V is particularly well-suited for the production of molded parts that require increased chemical and thermal resistance.
Processing:
- DIEPAL S-20-V should be processed at room temperature (15–25 °C). Lower processing temperatures negatively affect curing.
- The polyester resin should be thoroughly stirred before use.
- Working time approx. 25–35 min. (room temperature 23°C) with 2% MEKP hardener DD-MP1
- Do not process at resin and room temperatures below 18°C.
- Shelf life at 20°C: 3 months
- Color: light brown
- Cures tacky

Description:
Our molding mat is a non-woven fabric made from brand-name fibers that is highly stretchable and flexible. It contains no chemical binders, ensuring a constant flow of air. It is designed for use with epoxy and polyester resins. With a resin consumption of approx. 4–4.5 kg/m², a laminate thickness of approx. 5 mm can be achieved in a single step! In this case, there is no need to laminate multiple layers of fiberglass. The mat remains dimensionally stable even when exposed to resin and does not collapse!
Application:
Particularly well-suited for the fabrication of car audio installations, such as door panels, trunk liners, or headliners. Ideal for creating free-form shapes!
