Our styrene-free DIEPAL S-20-V is a medium-viscosity, medium-reactive unsaturated polyester resin based on isophthalic acid and neopentyl glycol dissolved in vinyltoluene, which, after curing, produces products with good thermal and mechanical properties and is suitable for almost all common processing methods.
DIEPAL S-20-V is particularly well suited for the manufacture of molded parts that have to meet increased requirements in terms of chemical and thermal resistance.
Processing:
- DIEPAL S-20-V should be processed at room temperature (15–25 °C). Lower processing temperatures have a negative effect on curing.
- The polyester resin should be stirred thoroughly before use.
- Processing time approx. 25–35 min. (room temperature 23°C) with 2% MEKP hardener DD-MP1.
- Do not process at resin and room temperatures below 18°C.
- Shelf life at 20°C: 3 months.
- Color: light brown.
- Cures sticky.
