Triaxial glass fiber fabric consists of three interwoven glass fibers lying parallel to one another at angles of -45°, 90°, and +45°, resulting in very high strength. It is primarily used in the manufacture of components subjected to high tensile forces in the fiber direction, such as in wind turbines. It fits perfectly into components, has good drapability, and offers the advantage that the fabric can be re-draped, which is ensured by the flexibility of the fibers. The fabric is processed with polyester resin, vinyl ester resin, and epoxy resin.
